Original artwork description:
I live beside a river that runs through the park next to my house. It flows on it's way through the countryside to Lincoln where it becomes navigable, discharging into The Wash near Boston. I walk along it's banks daily. Once out of my front door, I turn right for the town or left for the park, either route will provide sightings of a variety of wildlife.
There are several local pairs of swans, each having a favoured part of the river. The couple in 'Swans a Swimming' frequent a short stretch that goes under a bridge that separates two parks. They don't seem to mind this busy spot where children paddle in the summer and dogs often wade into the water. They seem very relaxed.
'Swans a Swimming is an oil on board painting. The image measures 17cms x 12cms.
It comes in a white mount that I have hand cut myself which measures 29.5cms x 21cms. It will fit an off the shelf frame.
It is signed on the front.
I post using Royal Mail signed for service.
