Artist's description:

While canoeing in Myakka State Park in Florida I drifted slowly along a waterway watching the sun sinking to the horizon as the alligators drifted near me as silent as my canoe. We shared this glorious moment, me for the beauty and them for the meal struggling in the coming darkness against the inevitable jaws. They didn't bother me, with my six foot long paddle I was too hard to catch.
