Original artwork description:

The title derives from an old Hollywood film directed by Billy Wilder with William Holden, Gloria Swanson and Erich von Stroheim.

The avenue of sunset is a watercolor that represents a long avenue lined with trees in autumn, when the colors of the leaves explode in warm and full-bodied colors that precede the decadence and decomposition of winter. A window to look at the forest appears dark and gloomy with its deep shadows but, approaching without fear, you can appreciate the wonder of the leafy trees, the scents of the undergrowth and the golden colors of the falling leaves.

Materials used:

paper, watercolor pigments
