Original artwork description:

I love them, the bold blue yet delicate inflorescences of delphinium and wait every year for them to bloom in my garden. Then it really is summer for me!
Stylistically, I find the contrast between the linear, very decorative stems with the buds to the lush round flowers made up of different shades of blue appealing. The delicate orange tone in the background supports the luminosity of the blossoms and gives the picture a warm, summery note.

The edges are black, the painting can be hung without additional framing.
