Original artwork description:
A blend of warm colors in heavy body paint, building blocks of color spontaneously applied in virtual abstract form.
Little use of brushstrokes as a palette knife was the main means of application, in order to simulate the decaying plaster of the buildings lining the canal. Everything about this painting is warm, and meandering, as one's eye follows the gondola on it's tour of the ancient city.
