This is Lenny and Margo. They have agreed to take part in a campaign to celebrate our wonderful bodies - whatever shape, size and colour our bodies are, they are amazing things and we should love the one we have been given!

Lenny and Margo spends all their holidays on the beaches of southern Spain so they are quite used to strutting around in their swim-wear so this exercise was not so difficult for them.

The participants in the Study of Beautiful Bodies are all made of cotton fabric and I have cut the shapes freehand to create truly individual shapes and then machine stitched them together. They are stuffed with a polyester filling. I have then decorated the various participants with swim-wear, necklaces, medallions, tattoos, body hair, scars and facial features by using cotton thread to embroider the various features. I used 100% wool for the hair and body hair and this has been needle felted onto the participants. I have also used coloured skeins to embroider on some of the swim-wear but also bits of wool that I have stitched on.

The participants are finished on the back with a loop for hanging them on a wall or they can stand on a shelf or similar if preferred. Each participant has my "Made to make you smile" label on the back and they also have their name and my initials on the backside.

The participants are sold in pairs only and their individual measurements are:

Margo: 10cm x 30cm x 5cm
Lenny: 10cm x 34cm x 4cm
