This oil sketch is a study for a painting worked on as a follow up the Prelude to Expulsion. The follow up was to be called Overture to Expulsion and the full size painting of Eve was been completed in 2005 and can be seen on here too.
This sketch was painted in 2002 and explores an alternative take of painting the finished image through using a variety of colours.
