Artist's description:

This is the Temple of Virtue a folly designed by William Kent in 1734 and located with many other follies in Stowe Landscape Gardens which belong to the National Trust and surround Stowe Public School.

The landscape gardens were designed by Capability Brown, the esteemed 18th century landscape gardener.

I've painted my own abstract fantasy garden around it the Temple of Virtue. Sorry Mr Brown!

It is on a deep sided canvas and has painted sides which are painted to be seen rather than hidden in a frame. It is ready to hang.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint
