Stone Pangolin
The sculpture was created from a rare bolted burl of measles. My guess is that it is black alder. It was a gift from an artist colleague, from a painter who said I could make something special out of it. The now finished sculpture is strongly reminiscent of an armadillo. It is particularly vivid when it is placed on a stone boulder. The pictures show some examples. The stones are not included. The future owner is sure to find his favorite stone. The weight is 823 grams, the height is 16 cm, depth and width 21 cm. Sealed and polished with wax, the grain is particularly prominent.
