Fresh, bright lemons always energize me. I, of course, like to add lemon to tea, even coffee. A pleasant note of acidity complements the taste of drinks, and I also like the combination of coffee and lemon peel flavors. But it's not the taste of lemon that gives me energy; it's its colour, especially in winter. Sunlight is sometimes lacking, and lemon is like bright summer sunshine.
There it is pleasant not only to look at lemons but also to draw them. And I've already noticed that I always have paintings and drawings in close colour schemes in a row. If I start painting green landscapes, the next painting will also be in a yellow-green colour scheme.
The picture is drawn with dry pastels on Canson "MI-TEINTES" pastel paper.
Image size: 23x30 cm. The sheet size is larger than the image size because the margins of 0,75 cm are left for framing the picture in a baguette.

The colours of the image may differ slightly from the colour of the actual painting, depending on the settings of your monitor.
