Original artwork description:

In my childhood home I looked at these branches every day. And with the Venetian blinds down this striped pattern formed on the wall. I can almost hear the old clock ticking, it brings me back to those years. It was very common and trendy to have cotton branches in a vase, back in the seventies. Do you remember?
This canvas is made of heavy, good quality cotton (!). It was an old painting of mine with thick acrylics that I painted over with oils, hence the texture that you can see. I think it makes it more lively. I explored the use of pastels and gray, it makes the bright colors pop!
To protect my paintings from UV-light and dust I varnish my paintings with at least 2 coats of matt varnish.
The back is wired and the sides are painted too. The painting is ready to hang. Signature and date is on the front and the back.
