I tried here to vary the colour palette to create the false colours which would render the work more abstract. I had in mind the acid colours of artists such as John Piper and Marc Chagall both of whom have contributed art to Sussex. I also abandoned the emphasis on line to allow the consideration of the colour scheme to be paramount
