Beautiful and spectacular St Malo is a historical walled city on the north west shores of Brittany, France. Two sketchbook drawings made during a flying 2 day visit there in late July. These watercolour and graphite drawings were made from the seashore - one looking south (south view) viewing the ramparts and cathedral spire of the walled city and the other showing the beech (north view) towards the Island fortress, rock pools and a wide sandy beech offering fun and games, but only during ebb tide.
