The light in the very south west of England is spectacular and no more so than at the tip of Cornwall where the Atlantic coast washes against the cliffs and sandy beaches that I love.
This is my first in a series of abstract works exploring light, colour and form of our coastal towns and villages. St Ives is a artists haven and has been painted over centuries by thousands of inspired painted like me.
The regimented cubist and geometric style has been broken with contrasting wet in wet washes that evoke movement in the water and the light on the roofs of the houses along the quay-the effect is incredibly pleasing.
This work is offered unframed but mounted in a neutral coloured quality mount.
A word about packaging and delivery:
My packaging: Your artwork will be celo-wrapped, bubble wrapped and protected by card or mount board.
I almost always re-cycle external packaging, being a conscientious planetarian, and while it may not look pretty it will be protective and secure so please forgive outward appearances they belie a beauty underneath.
Delivery: All smaller works are dispatched, first class by the Royal Mail, usually within five days of purchase.
Larger works are dispatched via My Hermes Courier and are usually a little longer to arrive than via the post office.
