Original artwork description:

Another thrilling instance where an artwork in its entirety becomes more than the sum of its parts (in this case images sliced, cut, torn and scalpeled from vintage books and magazines) become a haunting and surreal desert landscape.

I have tried to use complementary colours and simple shapes to create a truly interesting photo montage, one that rewards the viewer for taking time to really look.

Framed in another one of my brocante finds, Spectre Spectator will add something very special to the room it inhabits.

Materials used:

Hand cut magazines, books and postcards on paper, framed in an up cycled vintage wooden frame.
