Original artwork description:
I painted this in a live group session. I loved the colors and the pose, though I wasn't satisfied with the eyes. When I got home, I asked my teen-aged daughter to pose for me while I finished the eyes.
The skin tones have some thick paint to emphasize light and texture. Much of the painting has loose brushstrokes, and the background is multi-colored to get the effect of atmosphere.
This one is sold unframed, even though it is currently in a rather heavy frame. I can send information on the frame if interested.
