Original artwork description:

This pastel painting is about contrasts. I picked props in red and its complementary turquoise, old and new, different materials, both organic and geometric shapes, light and shadow. And again, like almost all my still life setups - natural versus man-made items. I strived to a peaceful harmony between all the contrasts.
Artist quality soft pastels and pastel pencils were used on pastel cardboard.
