Original artwork description:
This bold oil painting is of gulls on the Solway Firth near where I used to live. I normally prefer to paint in front of the subject but this was done in my studio in Ely from previous sketches.
It is painted on mountboard which has previously been gessoed and this allows it to be mounted for framing behind glass. It comes with a mount but no frame so you can choose your own frame to suit your requirements. The mount will fit a standard 14 x 14 inch frame.
