Shimmering shades of gold painted and gold leaf butterflies take flight in this abstract and dramatic piece. Gold leaf sits in the background of the butterflies to create movement and depth. This is an abstract and original composition that can highlights butterflies erupting into flight. I have hung this piece in my own home in all lights - bright sunny positions and darker rooms and each view provides something different, it is a piece of art where you will see and notice different aspect every time you view it.

Every butterfly is cut, folded and glued with precision. The delicate raised wings create beautiful shadows, which give the artwork movement and variation in different lights. I paint three layers of high quality artist acrylic to obtains rich pigment. This piece is framed in a ready made black frame, which can be wall hung or placed on a shelf.

I ship within 72 hours of an order. Your artwork will arrive carefully wrapped in cardboard and I use recycled materials wherever possible.
