A warm autumn early-evening breeze through ancient woods. Low sun illuminating bark and branches before retiring. The autumn sun picks out an array of colours despite the lack of leaves, apart from those forming a carpet beneath the trees. 'Soft breeze in ancient woods' explores the colours both literally and in the imagination. Impasto oils over textured acrylic gives a feeling of the bark and movement in the breeze.
