Snakes Head Fritillaries are delightful spring flowers. They have only a very short flowering season but are well worth growing for their delicate nodding heads, like bells ringing.
These are one of my favourite flowers so something I really wished to paint.
Painted on a birch panel, this can be hung without framing to show off the attractive wooden sides or put into a frame.
