This is a charcoal sketch I did in the studio in one of the pose sessions. I like to alternate some quick portraits of the model with the anatomical and shapes study. Occasionally when I see a beautiful light, an interesting and intense expression from which I can fantasize, I feel the need to let me go, slow down the study and leave me a few minutes for a portrait.

This drawing is made like many of my drawings on paper recovered from a typography. It is a very beautiful paper to draw on, rich in a history, a past, a time. On the back there may be text books, comic drawings and ink stains and printing machine oil. I like to use this type of support, I feel that its past somehow adds something to what I do.
