The island in Denmark where I live and have my studio, is famous for its past herring fishing ports, so I just had to recapture a bit of that fame :o))
A linocut, is a wonderful thing, with my knives I carve the lino, making an image that I then ink up for each print, rolling it up by hand, it does come with some small variations, which is why linocuts are original prints.
This print is printed on a Fabriano card stock in a graphite gray, the silver ink and the shine of the paper goes so well together creating a bit of bling for your wall!
The lovely piece of paper the Herring is printed on measures
19" x 13" (50 cm x 35 cm)
and the actual printed area measures 12" x 16" (30 cm x 40 cm)
it has been signed and numbered in an edition of 20 on the front, please be aware you might not receive the number on the photo.
I ship from my studio in Denmark with many years of experience in packing my art, see my reviews, so it arrives safely.
If you have any questions at all, I am right here,
Thanks for looking,
