On a wall of an old country house, struck by the blinding sun, I found signs that reminded me of the "Sator", the magic square, the measure of all things, with the palindromic writing "sator alepo tenet opera rotas". I therefore wanted to reproduce those signs, on a surface that refers to that wall, to pay homage to this sacred geometry used, it is said, to establish the divine proportions of Romanesque and Gothic cathedrals.
polyurethane, epoxy resin, sand, fabric, table, acrylics
