Original artwork description:

Shrines are becoming more commonplace along our roadways and in private gardens and homes. They may have started in Asia where they commemorate a religious figure or loved one or just a place to offer a prayer. I even found one in New Mexico to a beloved pet. Meditation Shrine #13 is made from recycled wood and then painted. (16H x 15W x 11.5D) All my work is original and one of a kind. I will never duplicate it. It is part of my Rustic Deco line of furniture which I've been making since 1990.

Materials used:

wood, ceramic
