"Shape Of My Heart" is another example of how when you paint, you can be obsessed by a music, here was one of Sting, which was stuck onto my mind while I was creating that piece. And finally I named it after that song, because I can see the shape of a heart, even if it is reversed, as if objects through gravity were creating such a shape. It's harmony, it's composition, it's always music for me anyway.
The work on paper allows me to do research about techniques, colours, textures; it's the permanent quest for harmony. I create samples of emotions, each paper is a desire... a desire of texture, a desire of light, a desire of colour.... an expressed desire of many ranges of emotions. Often it is also the desire to sublime the blue, a colour that I adore. I like when the shapes of the motifs are organic, natural, soft on the edge, leaking, bubbling, when it has some fluidity.
The work on paper has started in 2015, it has been, and still is my laboratory.
