Artwork description:

An original handmade linocut print of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre beside the Thames in Bankside, London.

This is an edition of 20. It is a blue colourway of my gold and orange edition showing the Globe Theatre.

The image is just under A4 in size and is signed and editioned in pencil at the bottom by me, the artist. It comes ready mounted in a soft white mount with a backing board so all you need to do is frame it and hang it on your wall. It will fit a standard 12" x 16" frame (30cm x 41cm - roughly A3).

I love the Shakespeare's Globe theatre and remember going there several times during its first season after opening. During a memorable production of Henry V, the weather joined in and there was real thunder and lightning during the battle scenes!
