Original artwork description:

There is a special place, not far from where I live in South west France. The river Glane flows through this beautiful valley before flowing into the river Vienne at St Junien. This lovely spot was inspirational to the painter Corot in the 19th century and has been so for painters ever since. The greens of early summer and the river in full flow after the spring rain contribute to a sense of peace and tranquility. I hope you feel it to. This picture is sold unframed but with a mount and back board.

Materials used:

watercolour, paper
