Collagraph print of a tiger taking a bit of shade under a leaf. The colours on this print are reminiscent of old Victorian ceramic tiles. His spine is made from fern leaves and the shady leaf is beech.

Printed on 370gsm cartridge paper .

A Collagraph print is one made from a plate with different textures. The printing plate is made from mount board. The process is a combination of intaglio and relief.

I created a collage of my image using fabrics, glues adhesive and then sealed and dried before printing. The beauty of this process is the way all the colours merge together when printed and no image will ever be the same.
