Original artwork description:

SF House in Pilot’s Row, Presidio, with the Golden Gate Bridge standing watch in the background, the houses of Pilots’ Row offer an iconic San Francisco neighborhood scene that can be compared to the Painted Ladies at Alamo Square. Tiled roofs, multi-paned windows, and floral-lined pathways add to their major appeal. Built in 1921 for the families of the pilots stationed at Crissy Army Airfield, they offer views to the bridge, the bay, and the northern waterfront, which those same pilots wouldn’t recognize today since its transformation into a thriving coastal habitat and beloved urban parkland. Because of great details in its architecture, in this art I draw one of a San Francisco House near Golden Gate Bridge area a frontal view. I use Winsor Newton’s Indian Black Ink and Calligraphy (Dip Pen) Drawing Pen. Ink helps me to give the shadows and more inspired and emotionally strong.
