This oil depicts the lovely little harbour of 'la Pointe Courte ' in Sète (south of France). This place hasn't changed much in centuries with its fishermen's huts, its small fishing boats and nets. The artist conveys the luminous and quiet atmosphere of the place. This oil was painted on a linen canvas from watercolor studies made in-situ in one of the huts.
