Original artwork description:

This painting explores the use of material from the landscape whilst listening the jazz, exploring its composition, poetics and aesthetic.

During the course of its making the image seems to have been influenced by thoughts coming thorugh concerning either Brexit or Westeros from Game of Thrones, as the image appeared to take on the form of the UK, albeit a little warped and looking more like Westeros. It has become a typographical map, like those from the ancient world.

Materials used:

Painting: Oil, Found Objects, Pigments, Rocks and Soil on Paper.
