Original artwork description:

Painted at the turn of the year on the yellow sand of Traeth Llydan (literally Broad beach) on a beautiful blustery day.
The sun never really getting far above the horrizon shines pale yellow, like the colour of spring primroses, giving a winters light but not much wamth.
The oppertunity to paint here came on a visit to family on the wonderfully visual isle of Anglesey. I hope to have conveyed the feeling of the volatile seas and the
crisp almost biting wind, but one that blows the cobwebs away as my wife says.

Materials used:

oil paint
