Artwork description:

Scientists, like us, engage in a lifetime of experimentation, creation, or eccentricity. We need to think outside the box rather than getting fixated on what we already know. We must investigate. Alternatively, we need to tackle some issues with more objectivity and logic. Sometimes we need to remove ourselves from a poor circumstance or relationship in order to address the issues at hand without escalating or exacerbating them. Otherwise, we become trapped inside the box, much like the test subject in a science lab.

ATTENTION! In the United States and Canada, only framed prints are available. Within the United States and Canada, canvas rolls and prints are also available; however, outside of the United States and Canada, only canvas rolls and paper prints are available.

One of my signature motifs in this three-dimensional contemporary artwork is the metallic figures, which typically stand straight up with their hands closed to their thighs. This is a historical exhibition with staging that evokes and sends an echo from the past. The head is replaced by a scientist's headgear. The wardrobes are simple and understated. Rather than a garment, the character is distinguished by his headgear and body gear.

Roll canvas includes lightweight and premium grade 1.5” thick wood, a Giclée with Pigment Ink on 410g/m2 Premium Fine Art Matte Canvas.

Materials used:

canvas roll only, printed with pigment ink on 410g/m2 premium fine art matte canvas.
