Original artwork description:

Pangolin Clan Totem. Reminders of the importance of preserving the stunning diversity of wildlife in the world.
This is one of the mammals with the highest illegal traffic in Asia and, increasingly, in Africa. Pangolin is in high demand in countries such as China and Vietnam, where its meat is considered a delicacy and the scales are used in traditional medicine and home remedies to treat a variety of ailments such as asthma, rheumatism, and arthritis.
The eight pangolin species are protected by national and international laws. However, this is not enough to stop the intense and illegal international traffic of pangolins.

Materials used:

Strathmore 400 series 300g / color pencils.
