Original artwork description:

Satay
Acrylic colours on 300gm acid free watercolour paper 8.25 x 11.35 in., 21 x 29.5 cm
Alternative versions of a theme from an earlier commissioned adia. This is such an iconic cultural scene of Malaysia and Singapore. A man fanning the flames under the roasting skewered meats, often located at an open air foodcort at night. This is a tricky subject to attempt in black and white acrylic paints, and I worked a couple different variations in the process, for my own curiosity. This is one of the variations.
The close up picture is to give a better sense of the paint, paper and the brush stroke.
