Original artwork description:

This pastel artwork is showing Lemons in a green bowl on a Bamboo table. It is a rustic looking still life, the abstract design in browns greens and orange of the scarf adding to this theme. This coloured scarf has earth shades with a bright orange. Behind is a white woven screen which is a backcloth for the still life. I set up this still life with the coloured scarf as a starting point. I then added the lemons in the green bowl and the blue glass bottle behind. This is a pastel painting using the best of soft pastels. It has a white mount and a thick gold coloured frame and is under glass ready to hang.
