Calming, unassuming, yet minimally beautiful, this mini abstract will add a touch of class to a small corner of your home.

Inspired by mark making, and using various tools and materials, this painting brings together colour, design, composition and values to create an abstract which hints at an idea of a landscape with monolithic stones or sculpture, but is essentially open to the viewer's interpretation. Original watercolour and ink Abstract miniature, 10cm x 10cm (approx 4"x4") on 300gsm Paper. Layers of watercolour and ink with ochres and blues are applied with a variety of tools, and further embellished with marks and scratches to create this small expressive abstract work. This is one of a series of three painted in September 2022.

This painting is a miniature at only 10cm X 10cm or approx 4" X 4" and appears 9.5cm X 9.5cm in the mount. It will be sent to you matted (mounted) in a 8" X 8" (approx 20 x 20cm) off white mount as shown, with a certificate of authenticity and handwritten card making it a beautiful gift too!
