Original artwork description:

"Violet Reflections: Rook in Full Sunlight" - Hand-Painted Watercolor Painting
.
The Rook, a bird of exceptionally distinctive silhouette, has become the protagonist of my latest work. In it, I emphasized the subtle purple-navy reflections of its feathers, which beautifully shimmer in the sun. Presented in a vertical, elegant pose, the rook seems to embody the minimalist beauty of nature that we often overlook in our daily lives. Despite its ubiquitous presence in our landscape – from the countryside, through small towns, to large metropolises – many people are unaware of its extraordinary intelligence. These birds, members of the crow family, can not only use tools but also create them. On autumn days, they can be observed skillfully cracking walnuts by dropping them onto hard surfaces – evidence of their cunning and adaptability to the environment.
