Original artwork description:
This is a little watercolour of a birds nest containing Robin's eggs. It is float mounted on card with a soft downy feather placed beneath it to add the essence of texture with regard to the interior of the nest, which is made of twigs on the outside by silky within. The feather comes from a Turkey but as its a down feather it in itself is delicate and a piece of artwork. The bigger bird and the delicate little bird therefore come together through this association.
