In more recent times, poppies have been closely connected to fallen soldiers in WWI. Poppy flowers also symbolize beauty, magic, consolation, humility, fertility, prosperity and eternal life.
The bright petals of poppies are a stunning contrast in fields of yellow or green. They are just beautiful!
