This NEW artwork will be an addition to our Environmental collection where the art is created on discarded Sail Boat Sail canvas! This section measures 31 x 21 inches. I have grown so fond of painting these gnome artworks! If you would like a commission because you have a great idea floating around in your head.. contact me! Let's start a project together to create you a Original One of a Kind piece of art. The other day I cut me a large piece of discarded Sailboat Sail canvas to start another painting. It had a hard crease in the canvas that ran at an 45 degree angle that I could not get out. So I had to fall back and punt! I designed this Gnome Surfer artwork that incorporates the crease into the curve of the wave. Saving this piece was not going to happen! hah!
For that reason I priced it $200 less than I normally do. I Love to do Gnome art! Offers considered on this one for sure!

NOTE: As you can see these sections of sailboat sail canvas are very rustic. They are unraveled on the edges and some slightly wrinkled... like a piece of a sail found on the beach. They are also seldom perfectly square due to the characteristic of its ability to stretch with the wind. For me this just adds to the essence that this is indeed a piece of sailboat sail canvas... perhaps from a lost ship at sea! Let your imagination soar with this one! I feel it would look great hung on a wall with tacks, or matching colored push pins. Some of my clients hot glue a dowel rod to the top and hang it by sea rope or string. YOU can even participate in the creation of this artwork by unraveling it more on the edges if you want to make it look more distressed. These artworks are for the special GREEN-minded people who are like me in that they hate to discard things that can be repurposed. Especially into works of Art.
