Original artwork description:
At the end of the year, I go through all of my unsold work and really look at each painting. I then put each piece in one of three categories: sand it down, rework it, or leave it alone and wait for the buyer who likes it just the way that it is! This piece was in the sand it down pile (it was a pretty large pile!) and I decided to completely rework it instead - keeping the same composition. It was a liberating experiment and I am really pleased with the results!
