Artist's description:

A watercolour in my series on the Ridgeway track near Wantage in Oxfordshire. This time the strong reds of the hawthorn trees full of berries and Autumnal foliage were the inspiration for this painting contrasting with the greens of the trackside and fields.
The Ridgeway ancient track is thought to be Britain's oldest road and was known to be used by Roman soldiers and sheep herders alike. Today it is kept mostly free of traffic, is a haven of flora and fauna and enjoys beautiful views across the countryside of Wiltshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
Painted using watercolour on high quality 'not' pressed paper.
The painting comes mounted and backed with a warm white mountboard (mat). Alternatively can be sold framed in a quality oak wood frame as shown in the photos, please contact me for this option.
All my pictures are signed originals and will be sent to you carefully wrapped and insured during transit. There is a 14 day return and refund option if you are not completely happy for any reason with your picture when it arrives. Import duties, if any, are the responsibility of the buyer (but usually not applicable). My paintings have been purchased by buyers all around the world, including Australia, USA and France.
Any questions, please ask.
