Collagraph varied edition print from a life drawing I did a few months ago, printed on 370gsm cartridge paper . This is from a limited edition of 6. A Collagraph print is one made from a plate with different textures. My printing plate is made from mounting board. The process is a combination of intaglio and relief. I Collaged my plate with different textures in this instance scrunched up paper and a paper doily for the blanket, tile adhesive for her hair. I also cut into the plate with a scalpel. I used PVA glue to stick on my textures. Pva is then sealed with shellac. The plate is then coloured with stay open inks and printed. If you would like to purchase one, please message me and tell me which number you would like. There's a number in the bottom left hand corner. I will pack this print flat between layers of cardboard (see me at work pic) This print is sold unframed.
