With the Rapport panels, I don't have a preconceived notion before I paint — I let it be revealed as I interact with the materials and the math. All the pieces conform to Fibonacci numbers and can be combined in numerous ways. Each finished assemblage was created by playing with the individual panels to discover which ones had the most "rapport" when arranged together.
