Original artwork description:

This Pastel on White Paper Drawing is the second of two that were done in a beautiful riverside town called Tamshui in Taipei City, Taiwan. It was drawn “en plein air” after the sun had set on an overcast rainy day facing away from Taipei City out towards where the river meets the Pacific Ocean. I was interested by the brightness of the horizon as the lights of the distant fishing boats illuminated the darkening sky. It started raining as I was drawing this picture and I like how the raindrops landed on the pastel and left darker marks adding to the texture and overall mood of the picture.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
