Something very comforting about being dry & relaxed as rain pours down outside..
A bit Mondrian, a bit Bonnard or Hopper, I tried to simplify shapes while still maintaining tonal changes $ depth. The rain is shown by dripping paint, perhaps more symbolic than representational.
