Original artwork description:

Looking for some local subject matter I decided to take a closer look at some of the iconic pubs in Newcastle. I have known this pub longer than I can remember it's what I would describe as a real pub for real people be it the old man sat in the corner of the Toon fans drowning their sorrows after the match.
While doing some local sketches it's also possible to take on some light refreshments if needed.
