A fleeting moment of radiance through dense foliage onto a lavender-filled niche of a garden, with rays of amber light pouring into the scene, seeming to blending hard structure with the very air. A moment of ethereal transformation in a Provençal garden in summer.

This painting is one of a pair of meditative moments in the same garden in Provence; memories that stayed with me long after the 'event', inspiring me to capture what I could of how these sublime moments felt.
